Composite Steering Wheels

If you would like to improve your sailing performance,   a great range of  affordable composite wheels are now available  in a classic four spoke version  and three ‘Y’ spoke racing version, with diameters  from 800 to 1100mm, costing half the price of a carbon wheel.

The wheels  are manufactured using Monocoque technology, a structural system where loads are supported through an object’s external skin, and is widely used for race boat, deck components, masts, spinnaker poles and composite wheel giving it lightness, strength and durability.

The wheels are supplied with the appropriate hub for you steering system , and can also be designed  with the boat’s name or intialls.

The new GFC  ( glass fibre composite) wheels are manufactured in black, grey and white, but custom colours are also available on request.  The wheels are produced using a non bonding technology in aluminium moulds with high quality pre-preg fabrics.  All the wheels are manufactured in the EU and are certified by Germanischer Lloyd Certificate.
