I have received the clock and barometer from Germany and I am so very pleased with them.
It’s a pity I lost the providence of the battered clock that had done so many thousands of miles but these most beautiful instruments more than make up for the loss.
I have mounted them in an oak board and will attach a brass plaque commemorating “Cape Corsair” in due course and do a bit of varnishing, but for the time being they are on the wall by my desk in pride of place.

I hope that 2017 is a good year for you, your friends and family and of course Calibra Marine! I wanted to let you know that Will is absolutely delighted with his ‘weather station’ – quite bowled-over infact!. We just moved house in the first week of January so its all been a tad hectic and he is still eyeing up locations to hang it once all the packing cases are emptied and and furniture etc delivered. I can’t thank you enough for all your help – you made it a ‘bit of a merrier Christmas’ with the price and delivery, an easy and quick transaction and are helpfully pragmatic about any returns (not in a million years on this one!): thank you. You have an awesome range of products and even although we are boatless currently I have no doubt we’ll be in touch with you again once all the dust has settled from the packing cases!

“The props worked are great, we have sailed to Ensenada in Mexico and back, no trophies there but we have hit a dry spot with no wind for hours… but this past weekend my uncle was racing from Santa Barbara and won! Yes, first place! We have to give a lot of credit to the new props. Next will be TransPac to Hawaii in July, that will be the real test but we are optimistic. Thank you for all your help, you have always responded to our messages, phone calls, reached out to South Africa manufacturer to get all the details from about the old prop, and made the whole process very quick.
