I have received the clock and barometer from Germany and I am so very pleased with them.
It’s a pity I lost the providence of the battered clock that had done so many thousands of miles but these most beautiful instruments more than make up for the loss.
I have mounted them in an oak board and will attach a brass plaque commemorating “Cape Corsair” in due course and do a bit of varnishing, but for the time being they are on the wall by my desk in pride of place.

“The props worked are great, we have sailed to Ensenada in Mexico and back, no trophies there but we have hit a dry spot with no wind for hours… but this past weekend my uncle was racing from Santa Barbara and won!
